Beach parking in Collier County, Florida, this season: Complete guide of what to know
Though summer has come to an end, Collier County locals know beach season hasn't. With the average winter temperature in the high 70s, we never stop going to the beach.

Parking can be free for locals ― get a sticker
If you're a full-time Collier resident or property owner, you're already paying for beach parking through your property taxes.
So take advantage of it and get a beach parking sticker from any of the Collier Parks and Recreation locations listed below:

Make sure you bring your license and registration. Both documents should have the same name and Collier address on them.

How much is it to park without a sticker?
If you don't have a parking sticker, it'll cost $10 to park at a Collier County beach. Look for the parking meters in each parking lot.
Do any beaches offer pay-by-plate?
No, Collier County does not offer pay-by-plate at this time.
What's the fine for parking without paying?
If you park at a Collier beach without paying, you'll be fined $30. Beach patrol cars are constantly monitoring the parking lots looking for violators.
Parks and Recreation warns beach-goers not to park in non-designated spots because they don't want to pay.
And remember: you park before going to the beach, not after!
Do any beaches offer free parking?
Yes! Currently, you can park for free at Barefoot Beach Access, North Gulfshore Access, and Conner Park.

Are any beach parking lots still closed from Hurricane Ian?
Barefoot Beach Preserve was closed for over a year after sustaining damage from Hurricane Ian, but has reopened as of Nov. 24.
Parking lots two and three are open, but parking lot one remains closed. When you arrive at the beach, Collier County park rangers who monitor parking availability will direct you to the best beach entrance.
