Beached Orca Dies on Western Florida Coast
A 21-foot orca died after becoming beached in Palm Coast, Florida, on Wednesday, January 11, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.
Video and photos posted by the sheriff’s office on Wednesday show the beached whale in Palm Coast.
The sheriff’s office said that the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and Sea World were “assisting with its necropsy and removal” of the animal.
