BeachLife Fest Lineup Announced: Willie Nelson, Bob Weir & More

The three-day festival in Redondo Beach will celebrate California surf culture with more than 40 musical artists, culinary stars and more.

REDONDO BEACH, CA – The BeachLife Festival announced its 2019 music lineup Monday. The event, happening May 3-5 at Seaside Lagoon in Redondo Beach, will feature headliners Brian Wilson, Bob Weir and Willie Nelson. The three-day festival celebrating Southern California beach culture will also feature Ziggy Marley, Violent Femmes, Steel Pulse, Grace Potter, Blues Traveler, Bruce Hornsby, Everclear, Chevy Metal, Sugar Ray, and Donavon Frankenreiter, among others.

“We’ve painstakingly curated this lineup to capture what we believe is the unique spirit of BeachLife, bringing together a mix of legendary icons, headlining touring bands and emerging artists who all in some way represent our Southern California beach lifestyle,” said Allen Sanford and Rob Lissner, co-founders of The BeachLife Festival and LiveList, a Venice-based tech platform that streams live music performances around the world.

Top Southern California chefs will have their own 'Side Stage,' a 50-seat pop-up restaurant, which will give festival-goers access to "an unprecedented upscale dining experience just feet from the main stage," the press release said. Band-inspired menus will be created by chefs like esteemed California-based chef and restaurateur David LeFevre.

A limited number of reservations will be available for $150 per person beginning March 1. More information about menu options, and details about reservations will be released soon. The festival will also feature a curated wine village with boutique wineries, a massive craft beer bar focused on LA breweries, a VIP poolside experience, an elite speakeasy, and multiple bars, food vendors and trucks across the venue.

Three-day passes are on sale now on the BeachLife website. General admission passes are $249 and VIP passes are $795. The Captain’s Pass, which includes additional perks like backstage access, complimentary alcoholic beverage, and valet parking is $2,000. A percentage of ticket sales will be donated to several charities, including: Surfrider Foundation, 5 Gyres and Redondo Beach Police Foundation, among others soon to be announced.
