Bear cub injured in Tamarack Fire is rescued

A black bear cub that was injured in a California wildfire is recovering after being rescued. A Markleeville resident on Sunday found the bear, which had been hurt in the Tamarack Fire, and contacted Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care, according to fire officials. Rescuers were not able to locate the bear's mother.
