Bear Enjoys Hearty Roll in Upstate New York Snow

A Syrian brown bear luxuriated in a snowy patch at his home at the Orphaned Wildlife Center in Otisville, New York, on February 2.

Randy the bear has been at the wildlife center for over 20 years, according to Kerry Clair, who captured the video and who works at the wildlife center.

Despite the satisfying roll depicted in the scene, Randy prefers to relax during snowy days.

“He goes outside for just a few minutes a day in winter and spends the rest of the day in his bed,” said Clair. “During the summer he is much more active and loves being outside.” Credit: Kerry Clair/ Orphaned Wildlife Center via Storyful
