Bear Valley Road bridge widening brings lane closures

The City of Victorville has announced temporary lane closures during the Bear Valley Road Bridge Widening project.

The closures are scheduled from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Jan. 26 and Jan. 30 through Feb. 3 on Bear Valley Road between Tamarisk Road and Industrial Boulevard.

Riverside Construction will continue to make improvements to the bridge resulting in the following closures:

  • Jan. 26: The right-most travel lane headed eastbound on Bear Valley Road will be closed.

  • Jan. 30 to Feb. 3: The two right-most travel lanes headed westbound on Bear Valley Road will be closed.

Road signage will be in place during construction. Motorists are strongly encouraged to utilize alternate routes and to exercise extreme caution when driving within the vicinity of this road improvement project. Delays can be expected.
