Bears OLB Robert Quinn placed on reserve/COVID-19 list

The Chicago Bears suffered a brutal blow with outside linebacker Robert Quinn landing on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Quinn has gotten off to an impressive start through these first six games, where he’s totaled 5.5 sacks as part of the NFL’s best pass-rush duo with Khalil Mack, as the pair lead the NFL with a combined 11.5 sacks.

With Quinn landing on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the Bears are down to just Mack, second-year pro Trevis Gipson and undrafted rookie Sam Kamara at edge rusher with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on deck.

Quinn is the second player to land on the reserve/COVID-19 list in the last two weeks joining running back Damien Williams.

The Bears also announced a slew of other roster moves, including placing safety Deon Bush on injured reserve, defensive back Teez Tabor being elevated from the practice squad to the active roster and running back Chris Thompson’s addition to the practice squad.
