Beatties Ford Road closed north of uptown after pedestrian struck: Authorities

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Beatties Ford Road is closed north of uptown following a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening, local authorities say.

The incident occurred around 6:45 p.m. Feb. 13 in the 1000 block of Beatties Ford Road, near the intersection with Oaklawn Avenue.

Officers are asking drivers to avoid the area.

Medic said the victim has life-threatening injuries and was transported to Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.
