Beaver Valley pastors and church members invited to Repentance Prayer event in Midland

MIDLAND ― Pastors and members of their churches will assemble at a Repentance Prayer event Saturday at Lincoln Park in Midland.

The public is invited to the 1 p.m. event.

Organizer Dawn Monteiro contacted 182 churches she found listed and invited them to participate in the prayer event with the same message regarding prayers of healing for Beaver County youth and young adults.

"How (do) we help them become more productive, caring, love thou neighbors as commanded in Matthews 22:37-40," Monteiro, a member of Greater Faith Family Worship Center in Industry and one of several ministers that sit under the direction of pastor Andrew Monteiro, said in a press release.

While many people are expected to gather at Lincoln Park, the larger percentage will gather within their home churches along with their members to begin this prayer, Monteiro said.
