Beef grazing twilight meeting scheduled for Aug. 18

The Tuscarawas County office of Ohio State University Extension will partner with Grace Meadows Farm to sponsor a beef grazing twilight tour on Aug. 18. The farm is at 11773 Turkey Flat Road SE, Uhrichsville. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Grace Meadows Farm has been contract grazing several hundred head of beef cattle for the last four years and has developed fence and water systems to manage the grazing herd. Topics for this evening program include contract grazing, winter grazing, grazing management, fence and water development, and beef and forage resources from OSU Extension.

Pre-registration is requested by calling 330-339-2337 no later than Aug. 15.
