Beer festivals in Norfolk, Williamsburg on Saturday

Smartmouth is swapping out its traditional Oktoberfest celebration for a rock-’n’-roll-themed PsychToberFest on Saturday.

Instead of steins of Marzen and giant pretzels (though the wearing of dirndls and lederhosen is certainly encouraged) the brewery has a lineup of psychedelic rock bands including Shagwuf, BAMM BAMM, Deli Kings, DJ Lord Thomas and DJ Chugg Beery. Vendors and “German-inspired food with a twist” are also on the menu. The event requires proof of vaccination.

If you go

When: Noon to 10 p.m.
