Beginnings Care for Life annual silent auction and Life Walk/Run Aug. 6

Beginnings Care for Life Center is preparing for the annual silent auction, scheduled for Aug. 6 at the First Baptist Church, Coldwater. It is part of the "Life Walk & Run" festivities, benefiting Beginnings, Branch County’s only pregnancy care center.

“Once again, our community has been generous” said Jane Ford, director of the center. “Our auction coordinator, Kathy Pike, has done a great job in gathering so many different items and the business owners have shown wonderful support.”

More than 50 silent auction items will be available and include: Smart TV - Swick TV & Appliance; hair products - Custom Beauty Solutions, Great Clips; Thirty-One bags, impact driver kit; plants from Sycamore Farm and Neitzert’s; baked goods from Tya’s Taste Treat and Bob Evans; a car kit - AutoZone, Coca-Cola cooler - Teri Cohen; puzzle tables by Ray Roberts; homemade items from Craft Out Loud, Sheila Walrack, Kathy Pike, Kathy Guingrich, Marsha Thrasher, Sharon Odisher; baby quilts; crystal pendant - Kiess Jewelry; doggie items - Family Farm & Home; board game basket - Southern Marsh Realty.

Various gift baskets have been assembled and donated by American Flower Trends, Short’s Front Porch, Home Depot, Longstreet Living, McDonald’s and The Museum Gallery.

There also are many gift certificates for goods and services, including: The Foundation, Bella Vista and Quincy golf courses, Allure Salon, Great Clips, Tropical Rayz, Mancino’s, NCG Theatre, Adventure Zone, Taco Loco, Full Blast, Bill’s Steakhouse and Grill House, Book Haven, Two Bandits, Stoagies, Pure Envee Day Spa, Tibbitts, Dally Tire, Legg Lumber, Critchlow Alligator Sanctuary, Pizza Hut and Dr. Browne Recreation Center.
