Shannon Storms Beador has mixed emotions about visiting Heather Dubrow's house. On the December 1 Season 16 premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Shannon stopped by the "Dubrow Chateau" for the first time since its completion, and walking around the home reminded Shannon of the many years she spent living in the same neighborhood. As Heather gave Shannon and Gina Kirschenheiter a tour of the stunning abode, Gina noticed Shannon appeared a bit somber. "Do you miss living here?" Gina asked, to which Shannon responded, "I'm not gonna lie...It brings up a lot of memories."

In an interview during the episode, Shannon opened up about why seeing the finished details of Heather's incredible house was an emotional experience for her. "My home was my fourth child," she said. "But the house that David [Beador] and I built has a lot of memories, both good and bad. It's a part of my family's history, and all this is being triggered."

As they looked around the kitchen, Shannon admitted that she rarely comes back to the area where she used to live. "I have not been in this neighborhood once...until recently," she said. "I see the refrigerator drawers, and I see all the same things that we had, and then it makes me think that that wasn't even part of my life. It seems like so long ago."
