Belarus extends military exercises once again

Belarus has extended its military exercises until at least 16 July.

Details: Belaruski Hajun reports that the schedule for Belarusian training grounds indicates that military exercises have been extended. Sunday 10 July is a non-working day for all training grounds, and for some of them Saturday 9 July is too.

 

Military exercises are currently scheduled to take place across Belarusian training grounds until the following dates:

  • Barysau (227th) military training ground – until 16 July

  • Shooting range No. 1, Minsk (Uruchcha) – until 16 July

  • Gozha (near Grodno) – until 15 July

  • Brest – until 16 July

  • Repishcha – until 15 July

  • Maryina Horka – until 16 July

  • Losvido (near Vitebsk) – until 16 July

  • Neman (near Berezovka) – until 15 July

  • Obuz-Lesnoy (230th) military training grounds (near Baranovichy) – until 15 July

  • Chepelevo (near Slonim) – until 15 July

  • Domanovo (near Ivatsevichi) – until 15 July

  • Staryya Darohi shooting range – until 15 July

  • Zaslonovo (near Lepel) – until 16 July

Previously: Russia is using Belarus as a training ground where Russian troops conduct manoeuvring exercises and as a launching ground for missile strikes targeting the territory of Ukraine. It has extended its military exercises several times in recent months.
