Belcourt, North Dakota, gas station sells $100,000 Powerball ticket; who is the winner?

Nov. 8—BELCOURT, N.D. — La'Dots gas station has sold a winning $100,000 Powerball ticket, the North Dakota Attorney General's Office announced Tuesday, Nov. 7.

The winning Powerball ticket was worth $50,000, but since the unidentified player also purchased the Power Play option, the payout was doubled. They won with the numbers 1, 28, 30, 34, 52, Powerball 6 and Power Play 2.

The winner will have 180 days to claim the prize. La'Dots will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

"Even though the cold weather has moved into the state, North Dakota Lottery winners have stayed hot," Lance Gaebe, director of the North Dakota Lottery, said in a statement.

Also on Tuesday, a second North Dakota Powerball winner was announced: The Pit Stop in Dickinson sold a $22,000 ticket, for which they will receive a $500 bonus.

In all, North Dakota Lottery players have won $316,000 in the past two months, Gaebe said.

The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday, Nov. 8, is $196 million as of Tuesday afternoon.
