Belgrade, Minnesota, man transported to hospital after crash in Stearns County

Belgrade

was transported to the hospital after a single-vehicle crash was reported Thursday night in Stearns County.

According to a

Minnesota State Patrol

accident report, Jacob Larry Oeltjenbruns, 45, suffered non-life-threatening injuries after his GMC Sierra pickup went into the ditch near mile post 178 on Minnesota Highway 4 in Lake Henry Township.

According to the report, Oeltjenbruns was driving northbound on the highway when his vehicle went off the road and entered the ditch. The airbags in the vehicle deployed.

Oeltjenbruns was the only occupant in the vehicle, and he was wearing his seat belt. He was transported to CentraCare — Paynesville Hospital for treatment. Alcohol was involved in the crash, according to the report.

Road conditions were wet at the time of the crash reported at 10:42 p.m. Thursday.
