Bella Boutique & Consignment opens new location, expanding from Ferndale to Blaine

Bella Boutique & Consignment, a woman-owned consignment store with clothing and accessories for both women and men, has opened its second location in Whatcom County.

The consignment store in Ferndale was opened in 2021 by Martha Bermudez, the owner, and her sister-in-law, Fanni Bermudez.

“We loved the idea of giving pre-loved clothing a second chance, while also having a small selection of brand new clothing for women,” Martha Bermudez wrote in an email to The Bellingham Herald.

Last month an announcement of the shop’s second location was posted on Facebook, according to previous reporting by The Bellingham Herald.

“My goal and dream was to have multiple locations and the opportunity came up in Blaine for a 2nd location. We will be carrying everything as the Ferndale location except for home decor. We are still thinking of adding a kids section but that is still not decided on yet,” Martha Bermudez wrote.

The Blaine store had a soft opening on Wednesday, Feb. 14, but is having its grand opening from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18.

“We want to also take this opportunity to thank everyone that has supported our business and we hope that your support continues in our Blaine location and for many more years,” Martha Bermudez wrote.

Both Bella Boutique & Consignment shops are regularly open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, but hours may change. For the latest updates on hours and consignment acceptance, check Bella Boutique & Consignment’s Facebook page.

Bella Boutique & Consignment in Ferndale is at 1887 Main St. Suite 103, and the new Blaine location is at 625 Peace Portal Drive.
