Bella Hadid Has a Princess Moment in a Black-and-White Ball Gown at Cannes

Bella Hadid is continuing her glamorous style streak at the 75th Cannes Film Festival by taking inspiration from the Victorian era.

On Wednesday evening, the supermodel stepped out for the Chopard Loves Cinema Gala dinner in a bold ball gown that included details reminiscent of the 19th century, including a voluminous skirt, a fitted bodice, and puff sleeves. The black-and-white stripes that covered the off-the-shoulder sleeves and skirt provided a stark contrast to the plain black bodice, which was adorned with a white flower at the center. She topped off the look with black pointed heels.

Other accessories further added a feminine touch to her look, such as a white hair bow and her glittering diamond necklace, rings, and earrings.

Yesterday, Hadid made a flashy arrival at Cannes in two vintage Versace looks.

First, celeb stylist Law Roach dressed her in a sleek black gown from the Italian fashion house's spring 1987 collection. The strapless dress had a body-hugging mermaid silhouette and featured a drape detailing at the waist that tied into a large bow at her back.

Later, Hadid changed into yet another Versace dress, this one from the house's fall 2001 ready-to-wear runway. The long-sleeved, skintight look included a plunging neckline, hip cutouts, and tan leather details at the waist.

Though Hadid hasn't worked with a full-time stylist in years, she typically taps Roach for his sartorial expertise when it comes to bigger red-carpet events. Recently, the duo worked together to pull a 1959-era Dior gown for a gala appearance held in New York City this past April.
