Bella
Gender: Female
Age: 1 year
Weight: 46 pounds
Species: Dog
Breed: Black mouth cur/Boxer
Orphaned Since: Aug. 30
Adoption Fee: $250
Bella has been here for a long time. She was first orphaned in February 2022. She's your medium-sized black mouth cur with a little boxer. She's still just a baby and has never been properly trained. Although she knows some basic commands, Bella still would benefit from more. She has to be the only dog in the house because she likes to be the center of attention. She is food motivated and very talkative, and yes, high energy as she's coming out of the puppy stage. Visit Bella at SPCA Florida. For more information, please visit www.spcaflorida.org.
Bruno
Gender: Male
Age: 1 year
Weight: 74 pounds
Species: Dog
Breed: Shepherd German Mix Brown
Orphaned Since: July 14
Adoption Fee: $250
Bruno, a handsome big boy who’s in the teenage stage, has plenty of energy and loves to play. His family moved out of state and could not take him with them. Bruno also loves to snuggle up, especially on those stormy scary nights. And he loves to have his big belly petted on any day and time. When it comes to toys, he's not the least bit fussy. As for treats, throw him a bone or three. Come steal Bruno before anyone else does at SPCA Florida, and for more information please visit www.spcaflorida.org.
Is your dog scared of storms? Holistic treatments could be the answer
Cole
Gender: Male
Age: 9 years
Weight: 10 pounds
Species: Cat
Breed: American Shorthair Black
Orphaned Since: Feb. 28
Adoption Fee: $50
Cole is your typical lap cat who is affectionate in every way. He's very talkative and loves chicken and laps. He's been at SPCA Florida, looking for a forever home, since February. He had a family for many years, but things didn’t work out because a little thing called a baby moved in and Cole wasn’t fond of it. So his next home should be without little humans. Cole did live with other cats and a dog, so that would be OK. Come visit him at Linda’s Lovelies here at SPCA Florida. For more information, please visit www.spcaflorida.org.
Danger to native species The dumping of exotic pets into the wild is a serious threat to Florida
Maisey
Gender: Female
Age: 10 Months
Weight: 9 pounds
Species: Cat
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Black
Orphaned Since: March 17
Adoption Fee: $125
Maisey is taking life easy at the Orlando Cat Café waiting for a family to come and sweep her away. She's a tiny thing that came into the SPCA Florida with a fractured femoral condyle of the right pelvic limb. But it’s all better now. She is using her leg and can get around just fine. She has to be on a monthly medication to relieve any discomfort in her leg. Other than that, she's a great cat, loves other cats, loves to play and hang around. Come meet her at the Orlando Cat Café at www.orlandocatcafe.com.
