Four standout fighters from American Top Team will be integral parts of a historic Bellator MMA 299 Eblen vs. Edwards card in Ireland.

They are Bellator middleweight champ Johnny Eblen (in the main event), welterweights Sabah Homasi (on the main card) and Roman Faraldo and lightweight Jay-Jay Wilson.

Homasi (17-11) fights Levan Chokheli (12-2, 1 NC) in a welterweight bout on the main card of Bellator MMA 299 on Saturday on Showtime from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.

Homasi is on the card with ATT teammate and Bellator MMA middleweight champ Johnny Eblen (13-0), who is in the main event against No.1 contender Fabian Edwards (12-2).

Here is my video interview with Bellator MMA middleweight champ Johnny Eblen.

Faraldo (8-1), another welterweight from ATT, battles Luca Poclit (9-1), and teammate Wilson (9-1) faces Mansour Barnaoui (20-5) in a lightweight match.

As for Homasi, he won two of his past three fights with the latest a loss to Brennan Ward in February. He would like a rematch against Ward, but first things first as he is not looking ahead but rather focused on his next opponent, Chokheli, in Ireland.

Chokheli won his past two fights, including a unanimous decision win over Faraldo in November 2022.

About Bellator 299

Twenty-one fights in Dublin, Ireland, are headlined by a Bellator middleweight world championship contest between undefeated champion Eblen (13-0) and the UK’s No.1 challenger Edwards (12-2), who has his sights set on joining his older brother, Leon, as a current world champion. Leon is a champion in UFC.

The co-main event is wrestling prodigy-turned aggressive striker, No. 3-ranked Aaron Pico (11-4) taking on SBG Ireland’s No. 5-ranked Pedro Carvalho (13-7) in a featherweight match-up.

The event will air live on SHOWTIME (US), BBC iPlayer (UK) and Virgin Media Sport (IRE) at 4 p.m. The preliminary card will kick off at 11 a.m. and air on the BELLATOR YouTube Channel and BELLATOR channel on Pluto TV (US), as well as BBC iPlayer (UK) and Virgin Media Sport (IRE).

More on the card, a lightweight clash has Tunisian-Frenchman No. 9-ranked Mansour Barnaoui (20-5) and New Zealand’s Jay-Jay Wilson (9-1) of (South Florida) American Top Team.

Barnaoui made a name for himself on the international scene, securing lightweight titles in the BAMMA, M-1 and Road FC promotions. Wilson has spent the majority of his fighting career under the Bellator banner, where he has proven to be one of the promotion’s most dangerous grappling aces, sporting nearly an 80-percent finish rate.

In the welterweight division, SBG’s Luca Poclit (9-1) and “Vicious” Roman Faraldo (8-1), also of (South Florida) American Top Team, will battle. Poclit is a crafty and creative jiu-jitsu artist in the cage, to the point that his victory at BELLATOR 285 over Dante Schiro introduced the world to a new submission: “The Lucanator Choke,” which left Schiro fast asleep.

Faraldo is better known for what he does on his feet, which more often than not has resulted in taking his opponent off theirs. He has lived up to his moniker, compiling a career highlight reel of his aggressiveness, including flying knees.

Two featherweight match-ups: Frenchman Asael Adjoudj (6-1), who trains under John Kavanagh at SBG Ireland, will face off against Manchester Top Team’s Ibrahim Al-Faqih Hassan (4-1). Undefeated Dagestani star-in-the-making Khasan Magomedsharipov (8-0) faces Martin McDonough (12-6), who fights out of Wales.

In the lightweight division, Normandy, France’s Davy Gallon (21-8-2, 1 NC) will step into the BELLATOR cage against Berlin, Germany’s Attila Korkmaz (13-7).

Lastly, a heavyweight clash -- with two heavy hitters -- between Russia’s Sergei Bilostennyi (10-3) and Germany’s Kasim Aras (7-2) has been scheduled.
