The Christmas season has kicked off in Gaston County. Belmont ushered in the season Tuesday afternoon. Still want to soak up some holiday cheer? Here is a list of upcoming parades:
Kings Mountain’s Christmas parade will begin at 3 p.m. Dec. 2, and will be held at Patriot Park.
The Gastonia Christmas parade will be on Sunday, Dec. 3. The event begins at 3 p.m. at Rotary Pavilion. The parade kicks off at 5 p.m., and the tree lighting will follow. The event wraps up at 7 p.m.
Cramerton’s Christmas parade and village will begin at 4 p.m. Dec. 7 at Centennial Center.
The Cherryville Christmas parade will take place downtown starting at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 9.
The city of Lowell will host a Christmas parade and market starting at 1 p.m. Dec. 9 at McCord Family Park.
The town of Dallas Christmas parade will start at 3 p.m. on Dec. 10, and will be held on the square.
Stanley’s Christmas parade will begin at 3 p.m. Dec. 13, and be held downtown.
Mount Holly’s Christmas parade will begin at 6 p.m., Dec. 16, and will be held downtown, passing through Central Avenue and Main Street.
