Ben Bolt's Sill voted Sames Caller-Times High School Athlete of the Week
Ben Bolt's Louis M. Sill III had a breakout performance against Agua Dulce and has been voted the Sames Caller-Times High School Athlete of the Week.
Sill went 2 for 2 as the Longhorns christened their new field, including the first home run at the venue, scoring two runs for the Badgers.
Sill received 11,234 of the 40,568 votes cast, which was 27.7% of all votes.
San Diego's boys powerlifter Lukas Salaiz was second with 10,105 votes.
Students can only be named Athlete of the Week one time per season, per sport.
Nominations are due each Monday by 5 p.m. and can be submitted through email at ctsports@caller.com, by messaging the Caller-Times through its Facebook page, or on Twitter @CallerSports.
