Ben & Jerry's knows how to keep us on our toes what with all the new flavors, cookie dough chunks, and now, with a whole new line of non-dairy ice creams. The ice cream powerhouse has made vegan ice creams in the past using almond milk, but this new line is made with sunflower butter.

Utilizing sunflower butter is a first for Ben & Jerry's and it is just another way for them to offer up their speciality ice creams to those who choose not to consume dairy or are lactose intolerant. The new sunflower butter formula will come in three flavors and they sound delicious even if you don't typically opt for dairy-free options. The flavor range includes "milk" & cookies, crème brûlée, and mint chocolate cookie.

"Milk" & cookies isn't made with any actual milk, of course, but its vanilla frozen dessert base is made with sunflower butter. It's then mixed with chocolate chip cookies, chocolate sandwich cookies, and chocolate cookie swirls. The crème brûlée flavor is made with a burnt caramel base that has brown sugar cookies and salted caramel swirls. Meanwhile, the mint chocolate cookie is a bit more traditional, as it's made with a non-dairy mint base and chocolate sandwich cookies.

The release of this all-new non-dairy flavor line comes soon after the launch of Ben & Jerry's new Netflix & Chill'd flavor and its new half-baked chunks. Considering it's only January and Ben & Jerry's has already been up to so much, the rest of 2020 is looking up.
