Ben & Jerry’s Is Releasing Edible Chunks of Sugar Cookie Dough Filled With Rainbow Glitter
Sugar cookie-flavored treats certainly blew up in the past year. From Hershey’s Sugar Cookie Kisses to Ghirardelli White Chocolate Sugar Cookie Squares, we’ve been spoiled with the sweets. You can’t beat the classic, however, and Ben & Jerry’s has put their own spin on it with new Sugar Cookie Dough Chunks.
Ben & Jerry’s first got in on the cookie dough chunk game in April 2019 with three flavors, followed by more varieties in January 2020, and then two holiday flavors in August 2020. Now that we think about it, it’s kind of shocking that sugar cookie hasn’t been part of the lineup sooner. We’re hoping it’s worth the wait!
The treat is self-explanatory, and you should be super familiar with it if you’ve ever snuck a few bites from a bowl of sugar cookie dough. Better yet, these chunks include rainbow glitter to make them even more special.
“Ben & Jerry’s edible, snackable Sugar Cookie Dough Chunks with rainbow glitter are the perfect (and sparkly) treat! Sprinkle them over your ice cream for an extra dough boost, or munch on them on their own to curb that dough craving,” the description says.
The Ben & Jerry’s Sugar Cookie Dough Chunks were recently listed on Instacart and Meijer’s website. It’s not clear when they’ll officially be rolling out on shelves — maybe it’s happening right now! — so it wouldn’t be a bad idea to check the freezer aisle on your next grocery store run.
