Ben Simmons set for Nets debut, key role players out

With the Brooklyn Nets opening this NBA season at Barclays Center later this afternoon, the team will be prepared to try different lineups of athletes on the roster.

Brooklyn Nets insider Kristian Winfield reports that the franchise will be missing two key role players for the team’s preseason debut. Winfield reported, “Seth Curry and TJ Warren are out for [Monday’s] preseason opener.”

The organization faces off against the Philadelphia 76ers in their preseason opener, where they will utilize all of their talents to see where players will earn their minutes. The team will have plenty of players ready to prove themselves and earn more minutes as a more consistent role player for the team.

Curry last suffered a back injury and Warren found out the severity of his injury just days following his signing. Both players will be huge parts of the Net’s game plan, Curry will likely earn back his starting spot and will be the team’s best three-point shooter.
