Bengals announce roster move, coach absence for Week 13 vs. Dolphins

As the Cincinnati Bengals get ready to take on the Miami Dolphins in Week 13, the organization dealt with some housekeeping measures on Saturday.

The team announced defensive line coach Nick Eason will be unable to attend the game due to COVID-19 related reasons. While he’s out, responsibilities will go to assistant coach Gerald Chatman.

Cincinnati also placed cornerback Tony Brown on the reserve/injured list after he suffered a hamstring injury last week and promoted Stanley Morgan off the practice squad.

Morgan is quietly a big get for Darrin Simmons’ special teams unit. The former undrafted star hasn’t been able to break into the lineup at wideout, but he could actually be an upgrade on return coverage for the unit.

Otherwise, the Bengals have had a ho-hum buildup to this road game against the Dolphins, with Zac Taylor not even going so far as announcing who will start along the offensive line.
