Bengals say jersey redesign will feature nine combinations

The Cincinnati Bengals announced Monday, April 19, is the big day for the reveal of the redesigned jerseys.

Still no word on what those will officially look like of course, but we can speculate given some important details.

Details, meaning Elizabeth Blackburn told Dan Hoard there will be nine different uniform sets, consisting of three tops and three pants.

Blackburn said the following, per Austin Elmore of 700 WLW: “There will be three different jerseys and three different pants that give us, at max, a combination of nine, but we will work with the team to decide. I’m not sure fans will see all 9 of them this year. There’s one that’s sort of meant to be together.”

Fans know where this is going. The three different colors will be orange, black and white, of course.

Perhaps most interesting is that there will be three different pants, which is a new feel for the team. Maybe we’re talking about orange pants, maybe something else like a throwback combo. What this means for the “Color Rush” editions is hard to say.

Either way, it’s nice to have a little more detail before the jerseys officially arrive.
