Bengals beat Ravens in wild-card round, will face Bills next week in Buffalo | Replay

The Cincinnati Bengals open postseason play against the Baltimore Ravens in a primetime showdown at Paycor Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. on NBC (WLWT-TV) and former Bengals wide receiver Cris Collinsworth will be on the call with Mike Tirico.

Cincinnati enters the game as a 9-point favorite, according to Tipico Sportsbook, and the over/under point total is set at 40. The two teams are playing a week after Cincinnati beat Baltimore 27-16. Baltimore will be without quarterback Lamar Jackson and will reportedly play both Tyler Huntley and Anthony Brown at the position tonight against the Bengals.

If the Bengals win, they will travel to face the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round next week.

After trading punts with the Ravens the Bengals faced a do-or-die series on defense. If the Ravens scored, they could tie the game with a PAT or go for the win with a two-point conversion.

The Bengals' defense stopped the Ravens at the end of the fourth quarter and sealed the victory.

Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley scrambled to get the Ravens to the 2-yard line and first and goal with 12 minutes left in the fourth quarter. Huntley tried to push the ball over the pile for touchdown, was stripped, and Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard ran it 99 yards for a touchdown.

Kicker Evan McPherson converted the point-after-touchdown attempt.

After the Bengals offense marched down the field, the Ravens answered with a dominant drive of their own. Quarterback Tyler Huntley connected with wide receiver Demarcus Robinson on a 41-yard touchdown pass and kicker Justin Tucker converted the point-after-touchdown attempt.

With backup offensive lineman Jackson Carman in at left tackle, the Bengals offense marched down the field on their first possession of the second half. Quarterback Joe Burrow capped the drive with a 1-yard keeper to make it 15-7 Bengals.

Burrow then completed a pass to wide receiver Tee Higgins for a two-point conversion to make it a 7-point game.

The Ravens drove near the goal line after forcing the Hayden Hurst fumble, but failed to score a touchdown.

Kicker Justin Tucker made the 22-yard field goal to give the Ravens their first lead of the game. Baltimore will receive the second-half kickoff.

After turning the ball over on their first drive, the Baltimore Ravens' offense responded with a long, sustained drive which consumed most of the second quarter. Running back J.K. Dobbins scored his first touchdown of the game on a 2-yard pass from quarterback Tyler Huntley.

Kicker Justin Tucker converted the point-after-touchdown attempt to put the Ravens within two points.

The Bengals capitalized on the Tyler Huntley interception by scoring the game's first touchdown. Burrow found Chase in the middle of the field for a 7-yard touchdown pass to open the second quarter.

Kicker Evan McPherson missed the point-after-touchdown attempt to make it 9-0 in favor of Cincinnati.

After settling for a field goal in their first drive, the Bengals' offense will get another chance in good field position. Linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither intercepted Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley at the Cincinnati 40 after Baltimore converted two first downs.

After driving down the field on their first drive, the Cincinnati Bengals stalled on the 21-yard line after two incompletions by quarterback Joe Burrow.
