When Bengals will play Ravens on Sunday, updated AFC playoff scenarios

The Cincinnati Bengals (11-4) and the Baltimore Ravens (10-6) will play Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Paycor Stadium, the NFL announced Wednesday afternoon.

Cincinnati will play Baltimore for the AFC North title as there is still no determination about the postponed Bengals-Bills game from Monday. If the Bengals beat the Ravens, they’ll be back-to-back AFC North champions for the first time since the division's inception 20 years ago.

If the Bengals were to have beaten the Bills on Monday night, they would have clinched the division before Sunday’s game. If this scenario played out and Kansas City beat the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday, the Bengals would still need to play their starters for a chance at the No. 2 seed.

No update about suspended Bengals vs. Bills game

It’s unclear what the league plans to do about rescheduling the Bengals-Bills game. The NFL said it won’t be made up this week, so both the Bills and Bengals are turning the focus to their Week 18 opponent.

If the Bills lose to the Patriots on Sunday and the Bengals win, Cincinnati would be the No. 2 overall seed in the AFC. This would mean the Bengals could potentially host two playoff games. If the Bengals lose to the Ravens, however, they could slip in the AFC seeding and not host a playoff game if the Bengals-Bills game is rescheduled and the Bengals lose.

All the current scenarios don't account for the Bengals and Bills finishing their postponed game.
