After an unexpected Super Bowl run last season, the Cincinnati Bengals enter the first phase of improving their team and defending last year's AFC title.

The Bengals enter free agency with glaring needs on the offensive line as quarterback Joe Burrow was sacked 70 times last year (regular and postseason).

As Bengals beat reporter Kelsey Conway pointed out, cornerback also is a position the team could target in free agency. Last year's additions of Mike Hilton, Chidobe Awuzie and Eli Apple in the secondary paid dividends for the Bengals last season.

Starting at noon, representatives for free agents are able to enter into contract negotiations with prospective teams that could sign them. The new league year begins Wednesday at 1 p.m. EST, which is when teams can sign players.
