The Cincinnati Bengals reached far into the depth of the roster on Sunday during the blowout win over the Detroit Lions.

Blowing away the opposition has a way of making that happen.

With the game secure late, Cincinnati yanked starters like Joe Burrow while simply going through the motions en route to a 4-2 record.

As a result, it was Eli Apple — not workhorses Vonn Bell and Jessie Bates — who led the way with 100 percent of the snaps played for the defense.

In total, 17 players got in on at least 35 percent of the snaps and perhaps most notably, Trey Hendrickson wreaked absolute havoc while playing just 40 percent of the snaps — while doing his part to end the Ja’Marr Chase vs. Penei Sewell debate.

Three linemen led the way with 100 percent of the snaps played for the offense. A revolving door at right guard and a minor setback for Trey Hopkins stopped all five spots from reaching that mark.

Maybe most notable there was rookie Chris Evans only playing 22 percent of the snaps but breaking out as the primary backup to Joe Mixon.
