Bengals’ Tee Higgins dubbed ‘young superstar in the making’

Cincinnati Bengals wideout Tee Higgins is starting to gain national recognition.

It took longer than it probably should have, but late is better than never, right? Higgins, the first pick of the second round last year, erupted as a rookie, leading the team in receiving with 67 catches for 908 yards and six touchdowns.

Now he’s finally got the eye of someone like Nate Burleson on “Good Morning Football,” who said the following: “You have a young superstar in the making…I guarantee you this: He will have over 1,000 yards and make the Pro Bowl.”

Hard to argue with that one. Higgins was about to set a Bengals franchise record held by Cris Collinsworth before an injury cut his final game of the season short. His impressive season came while working with a rookie quarterback after an odd offseason with no preseason, too.

The Bengals will add to the wideout room this offseason. But it’s easy to think Higgins will only improve from here as the offense around him does the same.
