CEO Selects Fresh Face for Major Fashion Brand Launch

PROVIDENCE, RI--(Marketwired - April 27, 2015) - BENRUS officially announced today that Camille Kostek will become the face and brand ambassador of this military inspired lifestyle brand.

Kostek appears in its upcoming advertising campaign and additionally will be the brand's voice through affiliate marketing and social media. BENRUS, originally a watch company founded by three brothers from 1921 to 1977, was recognized for decades as legendary timepieces proudly worn by the U.S. military from World War II through Vietnam. Chairman and CEO, Giovanni Feroce, also a retired U.S. Army field grade officer, has made it his mission to re-launch this iconic brand into a full-fledged lifestyle company.

The company recently released its first brand video called, BENRUS Presents: T I M E L E S S where Kostek is the featured model and narrates this behind the scenes, conceptual video in which the old and new BENRUS story is told. It was created as an in house collaboration with Rhode Island based ATOM Media Group and is the first in a series of videos BENRUS will release.

Giovanni Feroce graduated with a BA from the University of Rhode Island; the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School Advanced Management Program; and from The United States John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School's Civil Affairs Officer Advance Course. He was also elected to serve inthe Rhode Island State Senate, becoming the country's youngest state senator at the time; also served as a Commissioner of the Rhode Island State Lottery taking it from $58 million to $456 million in two short years. He retired a U.S. Army field grade officer, he is an Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom combat veteran and wasat one time a Ground Operations Officer and Interagency Operations Officer at U.S. Central Command. In 2010, he became the CEO of Alex and Ani, where he employed his leadership experience from the military to reshape the company. Under Feroce's tenure, Alex and Ani grew from a company with only $2.2 million in annual revenue before he arrived to $79.8 million in 2012, then $230 million in 2013. Camille Kostek is a native of Killingworth, Connecticut. She studied at Eastern Connecticut State University as a Communications major focusing in Television Production and studying Business Management. She was Eastern Connecticut's news anchor for TV22 where she wrote and broadcasted stories live for the Windham area. She found a passion for dance and began nationally competing at age seven and never stopped. She was a member of the ECSU dance team until she went pro. She was also a New England Patriots cheerleader for two years, culminating her career with the 2015 Superbowl Championship. In April, 2015, Camille was appointed official Brand Ambassador for BENRUS.
