Berks Catholic's Brady Mider wins shot put gold at high school indoor state championships
Feb. 26—Berks Catholic junior Brady Mider won gold in the shot put at the Pennsylvania Track and Field Coaches Association Indoor State Championships at Penn State's Multisport Indoor Facility on Sunday.
Mider, who finished third a year ago, won with a throw of 57-1.75. Berks Catholic teammate
Alex Witmer, a senior, was sixth at 50-5.
Twin Valley senior Anthony Engle finished third in the boys 800 in 1:54.81.
Twin Valley's boys 3200 relay team finished fourth in 8:01.17 and its distance medley relay team came in sixth in 10:38.60.
