Jul. 30----Hill Church will hold its Ringgold Band picnic on Aug. 6 at the Hill Church Picnic Grove, 620 Hill Church Road, Pike Township, from 5-8 p.m. Hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, soup, ice cream available from 3:30 p.m. until closing. Sit-down service 3:30-7. Door prizes during concert. Refreshments rain or shine.

—St. Peter's United Church of Christ, 219 Maidencreek Road, Richmond Township, will hold a public picnic next Saturday. There will be live music from 4:30-6 p.m. by Men of Note; followed by Mike and Linda Hertzog with Owen and Jacob from 6:30-8, A variety of food will be available for sale. —Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road, Barto, will worship on Sunday at 9 a.m. Coffee & Conversation will be held at 8:30 in the Welcome Center and then again following worship.

—Reformation Lutheran Church, 3670 Perkiomen Ave., Exeter Township, will worship Sunday at 9:30 a.m., with Holy Communion and the Reformation Summer Choir. Basics of Lutheranism, a new / current member class, will be led by the Rev. Paul Metzloff, pastor, following worship in the parish hall. —Christ Episcopal Church, 435 Court St., Reading, will hold three worship services on Sunday, each including the Holy Eucharist: at 8, a said service (no music); at 9, a service for families with young children; and at 10:30, a service with music.
