Nov. 10—The following are offering discounts or other benefits to veterans on Veterans Day:

—Adelphia Seafood invites veterans to stop at their West Lawn, Pottsville or Fairgrounds Farmers Market locations on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a complimentary take-n-bake dinner. Dinner choices are crab cakes, salmon or cod and include roasted potatoes and vegetables. Cooking instructions: Pop off the lid and place it in your preheated oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

This is the 10th year Adelphia has been offering the dinners, and last year handed out more than 1,000 dinners. In addition, throughout the year, Adelphia offers 10% off purchases for anyone who has served or is serving now. Veterans are asked to show their military ID at the checkout.

—Nature's Garden Natural Foods and Shoes, 4360 Perkiomen Ave., Exeter Township, is offering all veterans with ID 20% off all vitamin supplements and formulas on Veterans Day. Thank you for your service and dedication.

—Brookside Family Restaurant, 1338 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, is offering a free breakfast or free dinner to veterans with choices for a select menu.

—Royer's Flowers & Gifts will give away red, white and blue bouquets to military veterans on Veterans Day. The bouquets — featuring a red carnation, a white carnation and a blue bow — will be available in-store only at each of Royer's locations, including in Berks County. —Sheetz will show its respect and gratitude for veterans and active duty military personnel by offering a free meal and car wash on Veterans Day in addition to a $50,000 donation to the United States Organization. Sheetz invites all veterans and active duty military personnel to enjoy a free half turkey sub and a regular size fountain drink at any of Sheetz location. The offer includes extras and add-ons to the sub. Sheetz will also provide a free car wash to veterans and active duty military. This offer only applies to the $9 car wash option at Sheetz stores that have a car wash. Military ID or proof of service must be presented to qualify. —The Fred Beans Automotive Group is offering several Veterans Day discounts on automotive services, including a free oil change, to both retired and active military personnel.

Also over these three days, Fred Beans Automotive Group will double the military rebate following the purchase of a new vehicle. The rebates vary by manufacturer.
