July 25:

—Leesport Area Historical Society program: Lynn Otto presents "A Walk with Conrad Weiser" at 7 p.m., Bethany EC Church, 308 Main St., Leesport. Otto is a native of Hegins Township, Schuylkill County, and has been a participant in living history demonstrations since 1984. His program will focus on Conrad Weiser's travels on the Tulpehocken Trail while serving as an interpreter and negotiator for the Native Americans and the Provincial government during Pennsylvania's early days.

Aug. 1:

—Italian hoagie sale, Pioneer Grange, 46 E. Keller St., Topton. Deadline to order is July 24. Cost $5. Pickup, 1, 3-5 p.m. at the Grange hall. Orders: Tammy at 610-463-7213.

Aug. 6:

—Drive-thru sausage sandwich sale, St. Peter's United Church of Christ,, 122 W. Franklin St., Topton, from 10 a.m. until sold out. Cost $6. Enter at Broad Alley and exit at Franklin St.

—Spring Valley Boutique, Spring Valley Church of God, 2727 Old Pricetown Road, Muhlenberg Township, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Park in the upper parking lot, boutique is set up in the gym. Most items at the boutique are free. Featured items vary by month (depending on donations) but frequently include clothing for women, men and children, shoes, handbags, jewelry, etc. Anyone looking to donate used items to this ministry can do so during boutique hours.
