Bernie Mac: Tapes From A King is a compilation of stand-ups from the early days of Bernie Mac’s career that have never been heard before. The clips were originally recorded for him to review his material after shows on VHS. The newly restored recordings offer a  glimpse into his creative process and more.

Bernie Mac passed away in 2008 at the age of 50. The comedian and actor had forged a massive career not only in comedy, but in scripted television with The Bernie Mac Show and movies like Life, the Oceans trilogy and more.
