Bernie Moreno to speak at Wayne County Republican Party’s annual Lincoln Day dinner

WOOSTER - U.S. Term Limits Ohio State Chair Bernie Moreno will be the featured speaker at the annual Lincoln Day Dinner held by the Wayne County Republican Party on Friday, according to a news release from U.S. Term Limits.

The event is being held at 6:30 p.m. at the Greystone Event Center, 50 Riffel Road, Wooster. Moreno will discuss the efforts underway to get the Ohio Legislature to adopt a resolution calling for national convention under Article V to pass a constitutional amendment for congressional term limits.

“Over 80% of Ohioans favor congressional term limits," Moreno said in the release. "My job is to make sure their voice is heard in Columbus and Ohio adopts a resolution calling for an amendment-proposing convention for an Article V convention for proposing a Congressional Term Limits. I will be discussing this and how Ohioans can become involved in my speech at the Wayne County Republican Party’s Lincoln Day Dinner. It is essential that Ohio acts on passing term limits for Congress.”

According to the release, U.S. Term Limits is the largest grassroots term limits advocacy group in the country.
