“I read your opinion articles in The Times, but disagree with the majority of them. What one word describes them?” Without hesitation, I respond, “Demonic!” My explanation.

Demonic refers to the devil, the prince of darkness, satanic, hellish, selfish. Trump places nothing on his burgers but Trump, He has no use for good old American cheese, like the rest of us. His policies are ultimately directed at Trump, not any of us. Retribution has conquered him. That is what he preaches. His own word “I am your voice, your warrior, your retribution.” Wants to get even with those disagreeing with him. Has nicknames for them.

Even Tucker Carlson of Fox News fame has labeled him a “Demonic Force.”

Trump plays to a small group of very loud people.

If elected again, Trump has promised to pardon all those convicted and serving time for their participation in the horrendous Jan. 6 insurrection. Those individuals have been awarded all due process rights under the U.S. Constitution and applicable state laws. Note that Trump does not have the authority to pardon anyone convicted under applicable state laws.

Trump is all about his own political theatre ― no other actors involved.

Really not an upside to Trump, but a noticeable backside.

There is no accountability for facts and truth in Trump’s life. But history will hold Trump accountable as to the facts and truths of his theatre.

Parenthetically, lawyers representing Trump keep getting sanctioned by the courts. At least 17 of them have been slapped by judges, mostly for litigation challenging elections.

When lawyers try to help Trump with his problems they often end up with problems of their own.

Seventeen different lawyers have been sanctioned over lawsuits brought on the former president’s behalf. Their attempts include litigation seeking to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election and pushing a conspiracy theory blaming the Russia investigation on a smattering of Democratic party operatives. The result of working as a lawyer for Trump is his refusal to take a loss.

For Donald Trump, the only option is victory at any cost. This even includes having consul act in ways detrimental to their reputation and career.

Many of Trump’s lawyers, even if they are not sanctioned, end up needing lawyers of their own to ward off the worse consequences.

In the end, does “demonic fairly describe former President Trump?”
