Bernie Sanders says he'll tell us if aliens exist if elected president

When Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders went on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast on Tuesday, the two spent an hour talking about  health care, Sanders' platform, climate change, yadda yadda. But in the last minute of the interview, they got to the real important issues: aliens.

The public's obsession with finding the truth about extraterrestrial life (and the truth is out there) is nothing new. But who hasn't been on high alien alert since the news that people might actually try to storm Area 51 broke? Even if the Air Force tries to stop it, no one truly wants to throw their tin foil hats down in defeat.

"If you got into the office, and you found out something about aliens, if you found out something about UFOs, would you let us know?" Rogan asked Sanders.

While Sanders' area of expertise doesn't normally extend to the intergalactic issues (you can watch Rogan's interview with ex Blink-182 singer and UFOlogist Tom DeLonge for more of that,) he gave probably the safest answer he could.

"Well I tell you, my wife would demand I let you know," Sanders joked. His wife, like most of us, is also seeking that forbidden U.S. government knowledge, though Bernie admits he currently does not have access to that type of information.

When Rogan asks if he will have access, or if he'll even let us know about the aliens, Sanders replies, "Alright, we’ll announce it on the show. How’s that?”

Sanders isn't actually the only politician speaking out about the aliens — Congressman Mark Walker recently raised concerns that the Pentagon isn't properly responding to U.S. Navy sightings of UFOs.
