The Best Beauty Instagrams of the Week: Zazie Beetz, Marc Jacobs, and More
Intergalactic eyes were all over Instagram feeds this past week. Makeup artist Tyron Machhausen painted Zazie Beetz’s lids with strokes of silver chrome shadow. Pat McGrath stole the show with “major runway realness” at Marc Jacobs, featuring bedazzled verdant shadow and cotton-candy pink blush which stretched from the cheekbones to temples. Makeup artist Diane Kendal opted for another kind of striking eye-level moment for the R13 show with super-smoky washes of kohl liner.
On the show-stopping hair front, Junglepussy took time “harnessing the elements” in rainbow-hued tresses pinned into a structural half-up style with blunt bangs. Kelsey Lu reported live from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden with silvery braids, turquoise brows, and an oversize hibiscus flower to top it all off. And Imaan Hammam channeled “Donna Summer,” as fellow model Ebonee Davis put it in the comments, with shoulder-length raven waves and forehead-grazing fringe. Gabrielle Richardson took a golden hour snapshot cheek to cheek, curls to curls with musician Choker, while Marc Jacobs blew kisses from the backseat sporting “bottle green dotted nails” by Mei. Finally, Mona Tougaard sported eye patches with a smile, reminding followers: “Take care of yourself.”
