The 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards were held on Sunday night in Hollywood and some of film and television's hottest stars hit the summertime red carpet in their boldest looks.

While celebs strutted their stuff in eye-catching ensembles, we couldn't take our eyes off the makeup looks coming down the carpet. Scroll through the gallery below to see the prettiest beauty looks of the night.

While some stars like Lizzo, Tessa Thompson and Haley Lu Richardson opted for a swipe of colorful eye shadow across their eyelids, the majority of celebs went with primarily fresh-faced looks.

Kiernan Shipka and Aubrey Plaza kept things simple with dark eyeliner and pink lips, while Lana Condor and Elisabeth Moss gravitated towards wearable, everyday makeup looks that let their glowy skin and shimmery eyeshadow shine.
