Best Bel Air-Area Pumpkin Patches 2020
BEL AIR, MD — A fall tradition for many families is a visit to a local pumpkin patch. While the coronavirus pandemic has caused some of the region's pumpkin patches to modify how they operate, quite a few will be open this fall. We have hours, attractions and activities as the pumpkin-picking season ramps up.
Below is a list of some of our favorite pumpkin patches and fall festivities near Bel Air:
Brad's Farm Market, 550 Asbury Rd., Churchville
Hours: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Attractions: Hayrides to the you-pick pumpkin patch, corn maze, hay bales, apples and Ravens-themed corn maze (open daily).

Harman's Farm, 2633 Churchville Rd., Churchville
Wagon rides to the pumpkin patch start the first weekend in October. Masks required.
Attractions: Pumpkins of varying shapes, sizes and colors, including white ones for painting. There's also a produce market with fresh fruits and veggies.

Lohr's Orchard, 3212 Snake Ln., Churchville
Hours: Free hayrides are available weekends starting Sept. 26 and through October.
Attractions: Weekend hayrides, pick your own pumpkins and apples every day.

Falling Branch Brewery, 825 Highland Rd., Street
Hours: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 19 to Oct. 31
Attractions: Food trucks, live music, pick-your-own pumpkin/gourd patch, hay rides, 6-acre corn maze, build a scarecrow, pumpkin painting, farm animals, craft vendors, Broom’s Bloom ice cream and beer slushies. The pumpkin patch, corn maze and Hawks Hill Grill food truck will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Attractions: The drive-thru experience features creatures stirring in the fog.
