OK, we checked the weather forecast for the weekend and talk about a mixed bag!

Hot-and-humid Friday and Saturday, followed by rain and 76 degrees Sunday.

But you know what? It really doesn't matter what the weather is, we have plenty of ideas to keep you busy rain or shine.

You can head out to Domefest at Legend Valley Thursday through Saturday, where good tunes and camping will be offered.

Or, if it's hot outside Saturday, you can chill out inside when Tori Amos stops by the Palace Theatre for a concert.

Tattoos, music and more at Hell City Tattoo Fest

Want some tattoo inspiration? Head to the Hell City Tattoo Fest, now celebrating its 20th anniversary. The Fest will be held from Friday through Sunday at the Hyatt Regency, 350 N. High St. Mingle with 250 tattoo artists and vendors, watch burlesque and sideshow acts or listen to bands including Fallen Nephilim and Pray for Sleep and enter tattoo competitions. Hours are noon to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday. Tickets start at $25. (hellcity.com)

The mirth of John Mulaney

Emmy-winning comedian-actor-writer John Mulaney has generated laughs on Netflix (“The Comeback Kid,” “Big Mouth,” “John Mulaney and the Sack Lunch Bunch”), Comedy Central (“New in Town”), “Saturday Night Live” (as a five-time host and former writer who created Bill Hader’s club-kid character “Stefon) and Broadway (where he co-wrote and co-starred in the popular comedy variety show “Oh, Hello On Broadway.”) Mulaney will perform his standup act at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Value City Arena, West Lane Avenue and Olentangy River Road. Jazz giants to be honored

Ahead of its 50th season, the Jazz Arts Group will celebrate two of its stalwarts: Music Director Byron Stripling and longtime pianist Bobby Floyd. In “Byron, Bobby and the JAG All-Stars,” Stripling and Floyd will be center stage along with other notables from the organization, including present members and alumni of the Columbus Youth Jazz program. The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Lincoln Theatre, 769 E. Long St. Tickets cost $27.75. (www.jazzartsgroup.org)

String quartet performance

For its final presentation of the season, Chamber Music Columbus will host the much-admired string quartet Brooklyn Rider in a concert at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Southern Theatre, 21 E. Main St. The ensemble — consisting of violinists Johnny Gandelsman and Colin Jacobsen, violist Nicholas Cords and cellist Michael Nicolas — will perform classical masterpieces, including a string quartet by Beethoven as well as contemporary pieces that comment on current events, including the border crisis and mental-health epidemic. Tickets cost $20 to $60. Clippers fans: Head to the library

Visitors to any of the Columbus Metropolitan Library’s 23 locations can take home with them family passes for upcoming Columbus Clippers Sunday home games at Huntington Park. Each library will have 10 family passes to hand out, each of which covers two adults and four children age 12 and younger. The passes will be given away at no charge, “first-come, first-served,” to those with library cards two weeks prior to a given Sunday home game. (https://bit.ly/3L6GHzG)

New Andrew Klavan mystery

Stage Rights Theatrics will present the first production of “The Uncanny,” Edgar-winning novelist Andrew Klavan’s comic supernatural mystery about a Hollywood film producer seeing the origin of the mysterious “Black Annie” ghost story. Performances, presented both live and available for streaming, are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 1:30 p.m. Sunday, 7 p.m. May 25-26 and 7:30 p.m. May 27 at the Abbey Theater of Dublin, 5600 Post Road, Dublin. Tickets cost $15, or $25 (in person) and $15 (per device) for the Saturday performance including “An Evening with Andrew Klavan” with post-show talkback. Jam out at Domefest with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong

Ready for a weekend's worth of camping and music? The festival season rolls on with Domefest from Thursday through Saturday at Legend Valley, 10466 Jacksontown Road, Thornville. Psychedelic jam band Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, who will be playing two sets on each of the three days of the festival, are the starring attraction, joined by Lotus, Spafford, the Domefest All Stars and many more. While you're there, “expand your mind, body, and soul” in complimentary workshops held in the festival's dome. Food and crafts will be on sale. Tickets start at $85. (domefestival.com)

Tori Amos touring new album

Singer-songwriter and classically trained pianist Tori Amos, who hit the charts in the '90s, will be stopping by the Palace Theatre, 34 W. Broad St. at 8 p.m. Saturday, with a show focusing on her new album, “Ocean to Ocean.” She will likely be accompanying herself on four keyboards, and accompanied by a bassist and drummer. Opening will be young folk duo Companion, made up of twin sisters Sophia and Jo Babb. Tickets start at $48.50 (614-469-0939, www.capa.com)

Babes bidding farewell

After 30 years on stage, the Four Bitchin' Babes are calling it a day. Don't miss their farewell concert at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Columbus, 1125 College Ave. Musicians Christine Lavin, Debi Smith, Deirdre Flint and Columbus' Sally Fingerett will be playing piano, bass, guitar and Irish bodhran and showcasing their patented girl group harmonies on songs such as “Viagra in the Waters,” “Bald Headed Men” and “Oh No, I'm Looking for My Glasses Again.” Tickets: $30 (sixstring.org)

Tiger tales coming to Columbus

Meet Daniel Tiger and his friends from the PBS Kids television show at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Palace Theatre, 34 W. Broad St. for "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood Live: Neighbor Day." Daniel will be joined by O the Owl, Katerina Kittycat, Prince Wednesday and more for an afternoon of dance and songs both familiar and new, including, of course, “Won't You Be My Neighbor?” The show, aimed at preschoolers, should provide a lively mix of entertainment and education.
