Here is a list of fireworks shows in the Tri-County Area where you can celebrate the holiday. Please email jadler@pjstar.com if you have a fireworks display to add to the list.

Peoria County

Glen Oak fireworks: July 3, Glen Oak Park. Peoria Municipal Band performs at 8 p.m. with fireworks beginning at dusk. Peoria Zoo will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum will be open from noon to 5 p.m., with $3 admission. Parking is $5 per car, beginning at 2 p.m. VIP packages are available for purchase for $50. Red, White and Boom fireworks: 9:30 p.m. July 4, Peoria Riverfront. Visit the website redwhiteandboom.us.

Chillicothe fireworks: Dusk, July 4, Three Sisters Park, Chillicothe. Gates open at 4 p.m.

Tazewell County

Independence Day celebration: 3-11 p.m. July 2, Spring Bay American Legion, 500 Legion Lane, Spring Bay. Features live music from 7 to 11 p.m., food and fireworks at dusk. Bring lawn chairs. Admission: $10/car.

Morton Fireworks: 4 p.m.-dark on July 3 at McClallen Park in Morton. Features live music by Revel in Red, food vendors, children's activities and fireworks at dusk.

Fourth of July “Honor America Celebration” fireworks display: Nightfall July 4, Pekin Memorial Stadium, Pekin. Gates open at 7 p.m. with pre-show entertainment and concessions available. Admission: $5/ages 13 and older; $1/ages 6-12; free/children ages 5 and younger and veterans and active military personnel.

Woodford County

Eureka Food Truck Festival & Fireworks: 10 a.m.-11 p.m. July 4, Eureka Lake, Eureka. Features parade, food trucks, kids fishing derby, games, inflatables, live music and fireworks at dusk. Visit www.facebook.com/events/1200608427458512
