TIOGA OUTDOOR MOVIE NIGHT SERIES: The 2022 Tioga Movie Night Series continues at 7 p.m. today with “Sing 2.” Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and enjoy the movie under the stars. This is a free outdoor movie screening. Tioga’s restaurants and coffee shop will be open before and during the film so attendees can purchase dinner or snacks to round out the evening. According to IMDB.com, Buster Moon and his friends must persuade reclusive rock star Clay Calloway to join them for the opening of a new show in this sequel to hit movie “Sing.” This film is rated PG and has a runtime of 1 hour and 50 minutes. The last movie in the Tioga Outdoor Movie Night Series is “Clifford the Big Red Dog” on Aug. 12.

“FREE FRIDAYS” CONCERT: Catch the next performance of the city’s popular “Free Fridays” concert series from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Bo Diddley Plaza downtown amphitheater, located at 111 E. University Ave. The free concert series highlights a different act each week, with Fast Lane performing funk and R&B today. Attendees are encouraged to bring their blankets and lawn chairs to Bo Diddley Plaza to enjoy the concert under the stars. “HONKY TONK LAUNDRY”: It’s your last chance to see the Hipp’s latest production, a country-flavored, bootscootin’ musical. Wash your cares away with “Honky Tonk Laundry,” a jukebox musical full of country favorites from Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, Gretchen Wilson, Patsy Cline and many more. When Lana Mae Hopkins, owner and proprietress of the Wishy Washy Washateria, hires Katie to help out, they soon find themselves up to their elbows in soap, suds and cheatin’ hearts. The women join forces to transform the laundromat into a bootscootin’ honky-tonk and exact a touch of revenge against those that done ’em wrong. This production includes some sexual references and mild profanity, including talk of prescription drug and alcohol use. It is suitable for ages 13 and older. JAZZ ON THE GREEN: Join Celebration Pointe for live music, food and drinks, lawn games and more as CuBop plays live music on the stage in the promenade from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Spread a blanket under the setting sun and catch some live music while the kids play games on the lawn. WATER PARK COMMUNITY DAY: Camp Kulaqua opens its River Ranch on specific days during the spring and summer at a discounted rate with no reservations required, and it will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday. The venue features a 15,000-square-foot wave pool as well as a lazy river, water slide and volleyball courts. The public is allowed to bring food and coolers, but no glass containers or alcoholic beverages are permitted in the water park. Camp Kulaqua requests that modest swimsuits be worn. The water park is located at 23400 NW 212th Ave. in High Springs. The discounted rate is $16 per person; free for children ages 3 and younger. Future community days include July 24 and Aug. 7.
