We combed through Black Friday previews from all the major retailers—including Walmart, Amazon, Target, Kohl's, and Macy's—and found some noteworthy deals on small kitchen appliances that performed well in CR's tests.
Plenty of top-rated small appliances are already on sale—but below is a closer look at the deals that drop on Black Friday. Some doorbuster deals have small kitchen appliances marked at up to 50 percent off the list price. The catch? These discounts are often for in-store customers only, while supplies last, and for a limited time.
Many brick-and-mortar stores will open their doors around 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28, until midnight or 1 a.m. and reopen early on Friday. Check store locations near you for exact Black Friday hours.
Below is our list of the best deals taking place Friday, November 29. And if you can't wait—or would rather not storm the storefronts after Thanksgiving—check out our roundup of the countertop appliance deals that are already live.

The deal: $49 at Walmart, starting Nov. 28
CR’s test results: Instant Pot DUO60 7-in-1 6-Quart
The Duo is Instant Pot’s oldest model that’s still on the market. Several newer versions have more functions, but this comparatively basic model is more than enough for most home cooks. It earns an Excellent score for pressure cooking and a Very Good rating for rice cooking and sautéing. We've seen it on sale for $80 in the days leading up to Black Friday, but you'll get an extra $30 off if you wait. This deal starts Thusday, Nov. 28, at 6 p.m. and remains valid all day Friday while supplies last.

It scores an Excellent rating for predicted reliability based on our annual member survey. Macy's $290 sale price is already on par with other retailers' prices, but an extra $50 to $75 on Black Friday adds extra savings.
