Best Cyber Week TV Deals for 2019

Big price cuts on TVs don’t always end on Black Friday—or even Cyber Monday. In fact, this year, many retailers are turning Cyber Monday into a whole week of deals, giving consumers one more opportunity to score a great deal on a TV set.

We just sifted through the best Cyber Monday TV deals and highlighted below the offers that are still available during Cyber Week. Sam's Club, for example, has extended its bargains through Friday. Best Buy has carried some over, too, though it's no longer offering a free Amazon Echo Dot smart speaker with the purchase of Insignia- or Toshiba-brand Fire TV Edition television sets.

But many of the Amazon TV deals we had noted are no longer available at the Cyber Monday sale price. And Walmart is out of stock on most of the TVs from its Cyber Monday deals, including the super low prices we saw on models from its own Onn house brand. At Target some of the deals remain, though most are now $10 to $20 more expensive than they were on Cyber Monday.

One thing to remember about Cyber Week: Online retailers can kick off sales at any time, so it pays to request deal alerts from your favorite shopping sites in case an item you're interested in drops in price. 

Here's our list of the Cyber Monday TV deals that live on, sorted by screen size and then price. We've also added our analysis of all the TVs we've tested.

Smaller TVs

32-Inch Polaroid 720p TV
The deal: $70 at Target
This set is the Polaroid 32GSR3000FB, a typical low-priced doorbuster on a basic set from a secondary brand. Target had this same model at last year’s Cyber Monday sale for $10 more. Walmart had this set for $100, but it’s out of stock.

32-Inch Toshiba 720p Amazon Fire TV
The deal: $130 at Best Buy
CR’s test results: Toshiba 32LF221U19
This set is now $10 more than it was during the Cyber Monday sale, and it no longer includes the free Amazon Echo Dot. It did fairly well in our tests, with satisfying HD picture quality.

43-Inch Philips 4K smart TV
The deal: $160 at Sam’s Club
This is the Philips 43PFL5703/F7, down from $230 usually. We didn’t test this set, and Philips TVs have had inconsistent results in our tests. But it’s a low price for a set this size, and its now part of Sam's Cyber Week sale.

43-Inch TCL 4K Roku TV
The deal: $230 at Target 
CR’s test results: TCL 43S425
This set is now $10 more than it was on both Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and it no longer includes a $20 Target gift card. We tested this entry-level 4K set, and it performed just okay in terms of picture quality.

49-Inch Samsung QLED Smart TV
The deal: $598-$600 at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart
CR’s test results: Samsung QN49Q60R
This set is at this price at several retailers. It’s in an entry-level series of Samsung QLED TVs for 2019, and it’s among the better sets we’ve tested in this screen size. 

Midsize TVs

50-Inch Toshiba Fire TV Edition TV
The deal: $280 at Amazon and Best Buy
CR’s test results: Toshiba 50LF711U20
This is another set that's $10 more expensive than during the Cyber Monday sale, and Best Buy is no longer throwing in a free Amazon Echo Dot.

55-Inch Samsung QLED Smart TV
The deal: $700 at Best Buy
CR’s test results: Samsung QN55Q60R
This model is Samsung’s entry-level QLED series for 2019, which performed well in our tests. It’s also this price directly from Samsung. It was also available at this price at Walmart's Cyber Monday sale but it's now out of stock.

55-Inch LG 4K OLED Smart TV
The deal: $1,450 at Costco
CR’s test results: LG OLED55C9AUA
This warehouse club OLED TV model is one of our top-rated sets for 2019, and it's still at the Cyber Monday price. It’s a step-up model above the B9 Series sets. A similar model, the LG OLED55C9PUA, sold through electronics stores, is about $1,500 at several retailers.

60-Inch LG 4K Smart TV
The deal: $399 at Sam’s Club
This set, the LG 60UM7100DUA, usually costs $100 to $150 more. We only really see it at Sam’s Club right now.

60-Inch LG 4K Smart TV
The deal: $430 at Walmart
CR’s test results: LG 60UM6900PUA
This model, the same LG entry-level set we’ve seen in other screen sizes, is still on sale at this price (actually $427) at Walmart, but it has jumped to $500 at both Best Buy and Target.

Bigger TVs

65-Inch Samsung Curved 4K Smart TV
The deal: $620 at Best Buy
CR’s test results: Samsung UN65RU7300FXZA
Curved-screen TVs are slowly disappearing, but Samsung still had two series this year for those who like that look. This set did great for HD and 4K picture quality but couldn’t deliver the goods when it came to HDR performance. One bonus is the TV’s better-than-average sound. The set is about $100 cheaper at Best Buy than Walmart right now.

65-Inch TCL 4K Roku TV
The deal: $800 at Best Buy
CR’s test results: TCL 65R625
While we’ve seen a lot of price cutting on TCL’s S425 sets, in all screen sizes, the reality is that they aren’t high-performing TVs. That’s not the case with this TCL 6-Series set, which delivers top-notch HD and 4K picture quality, plus a compelling HDR experience—something few of the sets in this list can manage. Although this set was $100 cheaper at Best Buy and Walmart on Cyber Monday, it's now $800 at Best Buy and $900 at Walmart. It’s still a fine choice at this price for anyone on a budget looking for a main TV for their home.

70-Inch JVC 4K Roku TV
The deal: $550 at Walmart
This is the JVC LT-70MAW795, a set we haven’t tested. We don’t see this model elsewhere, and it’s a pretty low price for a TV this size, but we can’t tell you how it will perform.

70-Inch Samsung 4K Smart TV
The deal: $550 at Best Buy
Best Buy claims this model, the Samsung UN70NU6070FXZA, is an exclusive to its store. It’s a carryover from the retailer’s Black Friday sale. We didn’t test this model, but in general Samsung 6 Series models are entry-level TVs that tend to do fine for overall picture quality but typically fall short of providing a satisfying HDR experience.
