Quick! You've got just 10 days to wrap up (see what I did there?) your Christmas shopping. But you've got only one day to take advantage of Best Buy's 24-hour flash sale, which is happening right now and ends at — surprise, surprise — midnight.

The sale encompasses items from just about every category: TVs, laptops, smart-home gear and so on. Below I've rounded up five standouts, starting with an Amazon product that, in a way, beats Amazon at its own game.

Amazon Echo Show 5 with Blink Mini indoor security camera: $50 (save $70)

Available in blue, white or black, the 2nd-generation Echo Show 5 makes a great nightstand accessory. It's not only an amazingly capable alarm clock, but also a full-on Alexa assistant. Use it to turn off lights, adjust the thermostat, play music and so on.

You can also see a live feed from the Blink Mini camera, which you can add to your cart by clicking the "hot offer" link just below the price.

Amazon proper has the same deal running, but with one key difference: It's backordered, and therefore won't arrive in time for Christmas. Best Buy's deal allows for in-store pickup (where available) or free next-day shipping.

SWFT Volt e-bike: $500 (save $500)

This is the lowest price in at least four months for SWFT's electric road bike, which promises up to 32 miles on a charge (more if you actually, you know, pedal) and has a top of speed of nearly 20 mph.

Take note that there's some assembly required, though SWFT provides all the tools you'll need. (Even so, I definitely recommend watching assembly videos if possible.)

If you've never ridden an e-bike before, trust me: They're a blast. And this one is about as affordable as they get.

Acer Chromebook 311: $109 (save $140)

Rivaling Black Friday pricing, this Chromebook is a steal at $109. It features an 11.6-inch display, 32GB of onboard storage and a USB-C port for charging, expansion, data transfer, etc. It's a relative lightweight, too, at just 2.2 pounds.

Acer promises up to 15 hours of operation on a charge and a boot time of just eight seconds. Although this is probably best suited to a student, it would make a fine laptop for anyone with basic computing needs.

Take note, however, that because it lacks a touchscreen, running Android apps — a major Chromebook advantage — can be challenging.

Insignia F30 Series 70-inch Smart Fire TV with free Echo Dot: $500 (save $290)

A 70-inch TV for $500 is already an amazing deal. The Echo Dot is just icing on the cake — but unusually good icing, because if you put it within speaking distance of the TV, you can use Alexa voice commands in place of the remote. (Example: "Alexa, play Downton Abbey on Netflix.")

As someone who recently upgraded to a mammoth screen like this one, I can tell you unequivocally that bigger is better. Doesn't matter if you like sports, movies, videogames or the Great British Baking Show — everything is improved on a bigger screen.

But how good could Best Buy's house-brand model possibly be? Well, it earned a 4.5-star average rating from over 370 customers, so my guess is: pretty darn good.

Bella Pro Series 6-quart air fryer: $40 (save $40)

Something you should know about air fryers: They're amazing. Something else you should know: You don't need a super-fancy one with digital controls or Wi-Fi or any of that. A basic model can do all the things, though I definitely recommend choosing a big one, the better to accommodate lots of fries, chicken breasts and all the other stuff you're going to cooking in it.

Bella's top-rated Pro Series (it has a 4.6-star average rating) is as basic as they come: One dial for temperature, one dial for time. And the 6-quart basket is about as large as they come.

Honestly, I find that I'm using my air fryer now at least as often as I use my oven — sometimes more often. It's faster and easier, and convection cooking can yield some truly amazing results. For a mere $40, you can see for yourself what all the fuss is about.
